Gold Seal of Approval
On June 21, 2013 Peterson Regional Medical Center was awareded a Certificate of Distinction by the Joint Commission for managment of Joint Replacement - Knee.
The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit, national body that oversees the safety and quality of health care and other services provided to certified organizations. The Gold Seal of Approval® was specifically assigned to Peterson's new "Back to Life" Total Knee and Total Hip Replacement Program for demonstrating compliance with the Joint Commission's national standards for health care quality and safety in disease-specific care.
The Joint Commission survey conducted June 20th required an exhaustive review by an assigned surveyor of every aspect of Peterson Regional Medical Center – from patient care to facilities, clinical staff to management. Our acute, outpatient, transitional, home health and hospice services are each accredited with full standards compliance, The Joint Commission’s highest possible accreditation.
Peterson is proud to add another quality award to the joint replacement program, having also received nine remarkable Healthgrade accolades in October.
